TABLE OF CONTENTS: Bombing of Pearl Harbor (1942) - 10 minutes - This is one of the first Pearl Harbor extended newsreels, with footage of the SS Normandie and discussion of the attack by planes, ships and submarines. World at War (1945) - 43 minutes running time - This film was put together using rare news and archived footage to show an entire history of World War II up to the attack on Pearl Harbor and U.S. mobilization and involvement in the war. Crossroads of the Pacific (1930s) - 10 minutes - This film has lots of great footage of Hawaii and neighboring Pacific islands, before Hawaii was officially a U.S. state, but while Navy ships protected it as a U.S. territory. This is an interesting look at the military positioning in the Pacific about ten years before Pearl Harbor happened. Avenge December 7th (1942) - 2 minutes - This patriotic film recaps the tragedy of Pearl Harbor and urges the purchase of American war bonds. Pearl Harbor (1940s) - 2 minutes - This is a tightly edited piece presenting WWII military footage, including Pearl Harbor bombing clips. Pearl Harbor (Short Version) (1942) - 4 minutes - Newsreel footage of the Pearl Harbor attack.
